How To Make A Delicious Homemade Cream Punch

Eggnog

To make this recipe you will need few ingredients and a blender. Believe it or not, in just 10 minutes you will have the homemade cream punch ready. Of course, we recommend you place it in the fridge because very cold, it is even tastier!

Ingredients

  • 5 egg yolks
  • ΒΌ cup of white or golden rum (the amount of alcohol can be adjusted to your liking)
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla essence

Step-by-step preparation

  1. Separate the yolks from the whites. To do this, you can break the egg against the edge of a bowl and let it drain. Another option is to use the two pieces of shell. To do this, pass the yolk from one part of the shell to the other, letting the white drip. Reserve the 5 yolks.
  2. Put the yolks in the blender and beat for three minutes. In this way you will add air to the egg.
  3. Add the vanilla essence, the condensed milk and the rum.
  4. Blend for 5 minutes.
  5. Put the homemade cream punch in the fridge for at least half an hour.
  6. Serve in a glass with ice.

Homemade cream punch, with sugar

This version of the classic Venezuelan punch is prepared with pastry cream, that is, it includes sugar. If you like full-bodied strikeouts, this is the best option!

Ingredients for the pastry cream

  • 250 ml milk
  • 1 tablespoons of cornstarch
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 and 1/2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon of vanilla essence

Ingredients for homemade cream punch

  • Custard cream
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 1 cup of white or golden rum

Easy preparation of pastry cream

  1. Place all the ingredients in the blender and beat until smooth.
  2. Once whipped, place in a pot and cook over medium heat. It is important that you stir with a wooden spoon to avoid sticking.
  3. When it starts to boil, let it cook for a minute and then remove it from the heat.
  4. Let cool to room temperature.
  5. Put in the fridge for at least two hours.

  2. Add the pastry cream and beat again.

Lemon cream punch

If you prefer to use the whole egg, this is your recipe. In this case, we will separate yolks and whites but we will use both components for the recipe. The result? A very creamy homemade cream punch with a slight acid touch that the lemon will give.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans of condensed milk
  • 2 eggs and 2 yolks
  • 1 liter of milk
  • 1 liter of white or golden rum
  • 2 tablespoons of vanilla essence
  • lemon zest
  • 1/4 of teaspoon of nutmeg

Preparation

  1. Separate the yolks from the whites. For the preparation you will need 4 yolks and 2 whites.
  2. Mount the whites to snow.
  3. Then, add the yolks to the blender and beat. Add the whites and beat again.
  4. Add the milk, the condensed milk and the vanilla essence and beat again.
  5. Add the lemon zest and nutmeg.
  6. Finally, add the rum. We recommend adding it little by little and testing so that you can prepare the punch to your liking.
  7. Chill in the fridge and serve over ice.

General recommendations

  • The amount of alcohol depends on your tastes. We advise you to add the rum little by little and test the result until you get the expected one.
  • The rum can be white or golden, both are great in any of the recipes.
  • Homemade cream punch is much richer when chilled, so don’t rush the process. Leave it in the fridge for at least an hour.
